1. I welcome you all to this memorable Reunion in the name of God Almighty and on behalf of the National Executive Council of our great Old Students Association. We do this to the glory of God and our old school of which you are all part. I am very delighted to see old students from across the country and in diaspora from Europe, America, Middle-East and from the uttermost parts of the world. I say a big welcome to all of you who have crossed more than seven rivers and even oceans to get here. I wish you memorable stay and wonderful Reunion experience.
2. The Reunion will afford all of us a unique opportunity to undertake on the spot assessment of the present state of our old school and how far our efforts have yielded positive results. I believe this would then propel us as old students to make more sacrifices in form of financial, material and intellectual contributions towards restoring the old dignity of our school. Some of the developmental plans and proposals have always been passed across to all old students after each National Executive Committee meeting. While we are here rejoicing, embracing old time friends and colleagues, shaking hands and exchanging banters, we must not fail to remember those we would see no more and who have been called to higher glory. May their souls rest in perfect peace.
3. I am using this opportunity to thank members of the Planning Committee of this memorable golden Reunion.
